Two Originals
19’17” Digital Video
2024
Co-directed with Tal Stadler, Lucas de Montalembert and Robin Vandenbussche
First screened at Bulb, Bubble, Burst, Amsterdam
Two Originals is a film that captures the final moments of a vacant office floor in the historic IBM Amsterdam building. During a temporary intervention, 70 participants were given exclusive access into the highly secured compound. Unfolding as a quiet drama, the film considers and weaves together notions of climate and microclimates, office archeology and futurology, contracts and mystique, as well as the building’s own march towards obsolescence.
