RealiTopia presents itself as a quasi-advertisement mediating the notion of the nuclear family unit - Father, Mother, Child and the Real Estate (the home) - an ideology especially indoctrinated in the minds of the people in a hyper-capitalist, neoliberal nation such as Singapore. Questions of agency, care and home-ownership intertwine in a complex iteration of internalised and subdued emergency, revealing itself as the silent violence borne by each individual.
